Inside the DRIVE Top 20: Leadership & Learning at Jimmy’s Automotive

DRIVE Top 20 members gathered in Asheville, North Carolina for an unforgettable weekend of leadership, collaboration and adventure hosted by Jimmy’s Automotive Center. The weekend blended high-level business discussions with relationship-building experiences, including mountaintop excursions, RTV tours and thrilling zipline adventures at Navitat, creating an atmosphere that was both energizing and memorable.

Between the outdoor experiences and evening gatherings, attendees spent the weekend diving deep into the real-world systems and workflows that power Jimmy’s Automotive. Shop owners and managers explored everything from customer experience and service advisor processes to technician workflow, recruiting, accounting, marketing and team management. The open exchange of ideas and peer-to-peer feedback gave attendees practical strategies they could immediately bring back to their own operations.

A featured session from Jim Saeli titled “10 Second Tom” added insight and perspective, while collaborative discussions and year-long graph analysis sessions challenged attendees to think bigger about leadership, performance and long-term growth. The weekend was a perfect example of what makes DRIVE Top 20 unique: successful shop owners learning from one another, building lasting friendships and pushing each other toward even greater success.
